Pros

Really nice construction, feels like it will last
Two years of ownership and so far it has been very reliable
Love the graphs and all the data it produces
KH Director has made owning it even better.
Customer support from GHL has been very good

Cons

It took a few days to get the GHL setup the way I wanted, some things where confusing at first I also had some connection issues for the first few months but an update sorted it out.

Pros

Easy to set up, kinda like aquarium controller for dummies.
Very nice display and design.
Can be updated.
Great customer service.
Temperature protection.

Cons

Serial cable that attaches to unit for updating or computer monitoring is WAY to short. You can buy or make a longer cable but it should have that out of the box. Not a pain unless you want to run the monitoring software or update the unit.

Pros

The Reefkeeper 2 is a great controller. First off it is very easy to use. There is no special programming language to learn, just simple menus. Secondly it looks great. Lastly, since there is limited space, DA is getting ready to release some software to go with the RK2. I would highly recommend one.

Cons

None.

I have an AC3, I really like it, and the ability to monitor it from elsewhere.

Cons

Not that impressed with ac notes.

Pros

I've been using the Aqua Controller II for 2.5 years. By use of x-10 technology, it is able to turn lighting & heaters on and off as necessary - based on time of day as well as current tank temperature. In other words, if the tank gets hotter than the setpoint I've programmed, the lights are shut off to avoid overheating my reef.

Cons

I've found that x-10 doesn't work with low-voltage equipment such as variable speed IceCap fans. So I'm unable to use the controller to turn the fans on and off as necessary. One issue that I do have is that the battery backup doesn't always protect the date/time of the AC II and this is a huge setback.

Pros

This is one of the better controllers IMO. Neptune has been working hard to keep building on this line. When I first got mine last year, I was surprised that it could only monitor one tank. In the time since, Neptune has released add-on modules that effectively mean it can now monitor several tanks and virtually unlimited I/O connections.
